I'm a book worm... -----------------> me, as a bald bookworm

Have you ever sat down with a book, and found it to be so captivating that you just can't put it down?? yup. That was me today.
I was actually planning on going to bed reall early tonight because I've been up so late the past 3, but I started reading this Francine Rivers book, and it's so captivating that I just can't put it down really, all of hers that I've read are(grand total of 4, but they're really really thick so it's like a lot)... I'm on a little break so thats why I can do a blog.

On a different note, there are 24.02 hours until Christmas (approximatly)!!!! Woah! I can't believe that this time has crept up so quickly. This evening (before my reading binge) I sat down and wrapped mine and stuck them under the tree.... it's now safe to enter my bedroom.
I love the whole season, but this year I've done a heck-of-a-lot of thinking about how HUGELY the whole gift thing is blown out of proportion. Today alone Canadians are were estimated to spend something like a billion dollars with visa. Thats SO much. It is sweet that people want to express that they care about people and to give each other things, but it's SO off base of what Christmas is... and don't get me wrong, I do get swept up into the whole amazing gifts for everyone deal, I think we all do... but I makes me competely over whelmed and sad a little bit too.
Something that I DO love about the christmas season is how mostly everyone is home! It's so good.
