E.E. Cummings

I Carry Your Heart With Me (I carry it in my heart)...

I carry your heart with me
(I carry it in my heart)
I am never without it
(anywhere I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling)
I fear no fate
(for you are my fate, my sweet)
I want no world(for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is youhere is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the budand the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which growshigher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
I carry your heart
(I carry it in my heart)

ok, I know I'm a cheese, but this is one of the FEW poems on this earth that I actually like, and it's romantic.
I was thinking about it because in eng we're doing poetty.... so I thought I'd put it up.

This poem is actually off of a recent movie too..."In her Shoes"--I've had the unfortunate opportunity to watch it 2 times...really not so great. Anyway! yeah, I guess for a poem it's not too bad (I hate poetry too....:P)

Hey Julia! Thank for the comments. Yeah, I like poetry, every read Emily Dickinson?

I'll hopefully see you in January, then! Crazy to thik of living near Halifax. Its a community of people I am not familiar with the plot or story line to, but overly familiar with the cast of characters!
